Calling it a tough decision, Kelowna council has granted an apple orchadist his wish but neighbours impacted by the decision say their neighbourhood will never be the same. The orchardist wants to put 10 trailers at the edge of his property on Swainson Road in Rutland to house dozens of migrant workers. The only problem is, those trailers will be located right next to two homes. One of the homeowners is speaking out calling it a poor decision, but the mayor of Kelowna says the city must support its farmers. Kelly Hayes has the story.
