Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with the robberies of three financial institutions in Ontario in the past five days.
Durham Regional police said the Royal Bank of Canada on Taunton Road East was robbed by a lone suspect in Oshawa on Saturday.
On Monday, police said the same suspect robbed the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce branch on King Avenue in Newcastle then robbed the Auto Workers Credit Union on King Street East in Bowmanville the following day.

A security camera image of the suspect has been released by police, who describe him as 5’7″ tall, with dark hair and a beard.
Police said he was wearing a black baseball hat, a black, hooded-coat and prescription glasses, and may be driving a silver four-door Dodge pickup truck.
