A 36-year-old man has been charged in connection to the alleged sexual assaults of four women aboard Toronto’s subway trains.
Police say the suspect targeted women between October 2015 and March 2016 on the Bloor/Danforth line.
Investigators say the man would sit directly next to his victims and sexually assault them, often when they are travelling alone.
Stephen Oberhammer faces four counts of sexual assault and appeared in court on Tuesday.
Police say a sexual assault is any form of unwanted sexual contact. It includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex and penetration.
Anyone who recognizes the man and has been a victim is urged to come forward.
