Four Manitoba Bisons and Coach Dobie headed to East-West Bowl

WINNIPEG — The 14th annual East-West Bowl will have a definite Manitoba Bisons flavour.

Four players and head coach Brian Dobie have been selected to take part in the annual game that showcases draft eligible players for the 2017 CFL Draft.

Quarterback Theo Deezar, running back Alex Christie, offensive lineman Geoff Gray and defensive lineman Evan Foster all received invites.

Dobie returns to the East-West bowl game as part of the West coaching staff.

A committee of CIS and CFL personnel selected the players who were nominated by their respective teams. All of the 26 CIS teams will be represented.

This year’s game will be held on Saturday, May 14 at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium in Montreal.
