John Taylor Pipers guard commits to Winnipeg Wesmen

WINNIPEG — The University of Winnipeg Wesmen announced they’ve recruited Josh Gandier from John Taylor Collegiate.

Gandier committed to the Wesmen Men’s Basketball program after helping the John Taylor Pipers capture the AAAA High School Boy’s Provincial Basketball Championship.

“We are excited to have Josh joining our program,” Wesmen head coach Mike Raimbault said through a media release.

“He is a young man of the utmost character and a talented student-athlete. He brings a defensive versatility and an ability to knock down perimeter shots that will be an asset to our team”

The 6-foot 4 guard averaged 16.5 point per game along with 8.5 rebounds per game with the Pipers.
