Drunk driving charges laid after woman killed in rollover near Coronach, Sask.

RCMP have charged a Coronach, Saskatchewan man with drunk driving causing death after a woman was killed in a rollover over the long weekend. 

The rollover happened around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday just east of the community. 

Mounties found a Jeep YJ on its side with two people inside. 

A 35-year-old woman was declared dead at the scene. 

She was not wearing a seat belt. 

The driver, 40-year-old Daniel Allan, was taken to hospital and later released. 

He has now been charged with impaired driving causing death. 

Allan has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 13th.

RCMP continue to investigate. 

The name of the victim will not be released.
