Astley’s first song in six years, Keep Singing appears on his new album 50, which is named after the milestone age he hit in February.
Astley, 50, appeared on British talk show Lorraine Thursday and told host Amanda Holden that he quit music at 27 despite his success because he became disillusioned with the industry.

“I felt so far removed from the music,” he said. “The music industry is a business and sometimes it felt like I could have been selling beans.”
50 is set to be released on June 17.
