A group called “Tails Of The Misunderstood Canine Rescue Society” has started a fundraiser to help cover medical costs.

“The extent of damage has left one without a leg and the other holding onto a thread of life, which now, he has become stable,” the president of the group, Kelly Cerato, said.

The group is also documenting the dogs’ journies at www.facebook.com/tailsofthemisunderstoodcaninerescue/?fref=ts.
