Saskatchewan election results 2016: A live riding-by-riding breakdown of the vote

Some of Global News’ political analysts are claiming that close races could be seen in several ridings including Regina-Douglas Park, Regina Pasqua, Saskatoon Westview, Saskatoon Fairview and for the first time in several elections the Saskatchewan Party may be able to claim a seat in the northern Saskatchewan riding of Cumberland which has historically voted for the NDP.

The polls close across the province will close at 8 p.m. CT . Just over 110,000 people cast their ballots during advance voting in the Saskatchewan election, a 66 per cent increase from the 66,602 people who voted during five days of advance polling in the 2011 election.

Brad Wall is hoping to lead his Saskatchewan Party to a third term in office, while Cam Broten is taking the NDP through its first election since he became party leader in March 2013.
