LASALLE – Montreal police are on the scene of a collision between a cyclist and a bus on Newman Boulevard between Dollard and Shevchenko.
The incident occurred around 5:35pm when a man in his 30s was cycling on the sidewalk and decided to switch over to the road.
The cyclist crossed into the reserved bus lane where he was struck from behind by a south shore shuttle bus.
The man was rushed to hospital with head injuries and is now in stable condition.
Police have set up a perimeter to investigate the details of the incident and are directing traffic.
