Firefighters were called out to a fire at a pub in New Westminster early this morning.
The fire at Frankie G’s in Queensborough broke out around 1 a.m. and it’s been difficult for crews to fight with flames in the walls and the ceiling of the pub.
Firefighters have had to call in help from neighbourhood jurisdictions and a crew from Delta is on scene working to extinguish the fire.
There is extensive damage to the pub from fire, smoke and water.
It is expected that the pub won’t be open today for business.
No one was inside the pub the time and no injuries have been reported.
