Police identify suspect in Hamilton’s 5th homicide of 2016

HAMILTON — Hamilton police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect in the city’s fifth homicide of 2016.

Gary Michael White, 48, is wanted on a second-degree murder charge in connection with the death of his cousin, Joseph Colson, who died after he was found from suffering critical injuries Friday night in his downtown home.

Police said the motive in the homicide investigation is unknown. White has no fixed address and was last seen near Main Street East and Kenilworth Avenue around 9 p.m. on March 25.

Police are warning the public not to approach White, as he should be considered armed and dangerous. Instead, anyone who sees White or has information about the case should contact police immediately.
