OLIVER–Telus crews have put in a temporary fix as they continue to work on a cell tower that was damaged near Oliver.
The tower on Fairview Mountain west of Oliver was knocked over last Thursday, disrupting cell and internet service in the town for days.

RCMP say there is evidence that someone caused the damage, and they are now investigating.
Telus officials say they’re not sure how someone knocked over the tower.
There is no set date on when it will be fixed permanently.
