Greer, Knight lead Saskatchewan Rush over Vancouver Stealth 24-16

LANGLEY, B.C. – Zack Greer and Curtis Knight each had five goals to lead the Saskatchewan Rush over the Vancouver Stealth 24-16 on Saturday in National Lacrosse League action. Ben McIntosh added four goals while Robert Church scored a hat trick for the Rush (7-3).

Jeremy Thompson and Mark Matthews both struck twice with Riley Loewen, Adrian Sorichetti and Nik Bilic rounding out the attack.

Rhys Duch scored six goals and Joel McCready had five more for Vancouver (3-8). Corey Small added two goals while Cliff Smith, Justin Salt and Jordan Durston also chipped in.

Tyler Carlson turned away 16-of-19 shots in 24:43 for the win in relief. Aaron Bold started for Saskatchewan and made 18 saves. Eric Penney took the loss after kicking out 25-of-39 shots in 42:55. Tyler Richards started in net and stopped 18 shots.

The Rush scored once on three power plays while Vancouver was 3 for 4.
