REGINA – A new pop-up cafe is opening in Regina on Saturday, but instead of serving coffee, it’s offering-up free fixes.
For the first time ever, the Regina Public Library (RPL) will be hosting a Repair Café.
RPL is looking for residents who have any items that need fixing to bring them down to the one-day pop-up café and get them fixed instead of throwing them out.

The library is hoping it will be a learning experience for those who attend.
“We have six people who will be here who are going to be helping people fix things and teaching people how to fix things. And as I said it’s a group learning experience. So, bring your stuff down, you might be able to help some people too,” RPL community engagement manager Nancy Mackenzie said.
The event runs on Saturday March 19th from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
