A Florida couple somehow escaped serious injury after an SUV plowed through the front window of the pizzeria where they were sitting.
Security camera footage shows Pietro Leone and his fiancée Felicia Nesbitt sitting on stools in front of a pizza store window early Thursday morning, when a vehicle suddenly smashed through the glass, throwing their bodies across the restaurant.
Another woman shown standing on the opposite wall was also recorded being hit by flying debris, while an employee narrowly missed being run over by the vehicle.

“All I remember is me being pinned up against the counter, in between the counter and the car, and then the people trying to drag me out,” Leone told Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s WTVJ, shortly after being released from hospital Thursday afternoon with just cuts and bruises.
“The only thing I see is me going to the floor, the car coming past me, and then him being slammed against the wall,” said Nesbitt, who required staples in her arm and stitches to her forehead to close gashes caused by the crash.
“I thought I was going to die,” Leone added.
“I’m just glad everyone is OK,” Nesbitt said. “I thought it was going to be really really serious where someone could’ve gotten killed.”
Police are investigating what caused 70-year-old Dina Nolan to lose control of the vehicle and drive into the restaurant.
