REGINA – RCMP say one person was found dead after a fire broke out north of Shellbrook, Sask. Thursday morning.
At 8:45 a.m. police received a complaint of a structure fire at a rural residence four kilometres north of the town. Crews responded and found the residence engulfed in flames.
They later found a body in the house. The person’s identity has not been confirmed at this time. An autopsy will determine the cause of death and the identity.

The fire is still being investigated by RCMP, the Shellbrook Fire Department and the coroner’s office. Police say the fire is not considered suspicious.
