HAMILTON – An 83-year-old Hamilton woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a suspected drunk driver.
Hamilton police say she was walking in the Summercrest Dr. area when she was hit by a car pulling out of a driveway.
They say the 31-year-old driver stayed on scene and tried to help the woman, but have determined that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
