KELOWNA, B.C. – The WHL Kelowna Rockets lost momentum into the third period, allowing the Blazers to gain points and force an overtime Friday night at Prospera Place.

The Blazers made several attempts, the third shot by Dawson Davidson being the charm in OT, to take a 4-3 win against the Rockets.

Justin Kirkland, Tomas Soustal and Rourke Chartier took points for Kelowna.

It marked Kamloops sixth consecutive win and their third against the Rockets this season.

Kelowna heads to Spokane Saturday and Tri-City on Sunday.

Their next home game is Wednesday when they play host to the Victoria Royals.
