Trio accused of Okanagan crime spree arrested in Alberta

PENTICTON – Police hope the arrest of three prolific offenders in Alberta puts an end to a crime spree in the south Okanagan.

The RCMP superintendent in charge of the area, Kevin Hewco, says the trio are believed responsible for numerous property crimes in Penticton, Osoyoos, Oliver and Keremeos.

Waylon Faulhafer, Bree-Anne Buhler and William Gaddy, all in their 20’s, have been charged with numerous property crime and drug related offences.

They’re being held in custody and had outstanding arrest warrants for previous offenses in BC.

Police say a search of a residence occupied by the suspects in Edson, Alberta turned up a significant amount of stolen property including numerous firearms, explosives, vehicles, motorcycles, electronics, identity documents and a large amount of methamphetamine.

It’s alleged the trio were also committing crimes along the Yellowhead highway corridor between Kamloops and Edson.
