CALGARY – Police have arrested and charged Allen Day Rider with one count of manslaughter in connection with the death of 24-year-old Brittany Medicine Crane.
Crane’s body was discovered on May 21, 2015 at a residence in Stand Off, Alta.

Blood Tribe Police Service and EMS were called to the scene after receiving reports of an unresponsive woman at the home, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
After a 10-month long investigation, police arrested 29-year-old Rider on Friday.
No word yet on how Day Rider and Crane knew each other or who lived at the residence.
Day Rider will appear in court on March 7.
