The world’s second largest hamburger chain is introducing a new bacon-topped sundae for its limited time summer menu, but you are going to have to head south of the border to get your hands on this tasty treat.
Although the frozen dessert doesn’t come with a health warning, you may want to consider the nutritional information before overindulging in the salty-sweet treat as it clocks in at 510 calories, 18 grams of fat and 61 grams (or 12.2 teaspoons) of sugar.
To put the nutritional information into perspective, it would take an average person who weighs 130lbs two hours and 30 minutes to burn 510 calories, walking at a pace of 5 kilometres per hour.

Want to take a leisurely bike ride instead of walking to burn off the extra calories? The average 130lb-person burns 236 calories riding at the speed of 16 kilometres per hour. So, you may want to save a little more than two hours of your time to burn off that sundae.
In comparison, a large Georgia Mud Fudge Blizzard from Dairy Queen clocks caps out 970 milligrams of sodium, 79 grams of fat and 1420 calories, the highest calorie count on the Blizzard menu.
Meanwhile, a large Oreo McFlurry from McDonald’s weighs in at 390 milligrams of sodium, 20 grams of fat and 570 calories. Whereas a chocolate Frosty from Wendy’s has 280 milligrams of sodium, 16 grams of fat and 600 calories.
After looking at some of the popular desserts from other fast-food chains, the bacon-topped sundae isn’t exactly the worst thing one can order off the menu.
If Burger King was to release the bacon sundae in Canada, would you try it? Let us know on Facebook.
