WINNIPEG — Five people escaped a blaze in their home Wednesday night in the city’s Seven Oaks neighbourhood.
The fire started just before 11 p.m. at a residence on Monty Hall Drive in Seven Oaks Crossing.
Smoke could be seen billowing from the building when crews arrived. The fire started in the garage ssnf made its way to the house.
The five occupants were able to escape the blaze with no injuries.
Officers worked to prevent damage to neighbouring homes, but police said the home that caught fire will be a complete loss.
