Areas of wet weather will continue across most of Asia on Tuesday.

A low pressure system moving over the East China Sea and into the North Pacific will trigger widespread showers and thunderstorms across southern and southeastern Japan. Tokyo will see scattered rain showers with highs in the lower 20s Celsius.

At the same time, a trough of low pressure and an associated cold front will extend southwestward from this system. This will produce moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms over Taiwan and southeastern China.
