HALIFAX – Police in Halifax are investigating after a man was found lying in the street with a head injury after being beaten by a group of people.
Halifax Regional Police say the man was found on Highfield Park Drive in Dartmouth just before 1 a.m. on Sunday.

Investigators say the man was walking down the street when he was attacked by a group of six or seven people.
Police say several items were stolen from the victim and the group fled the area.
The man was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
