Calgary students break Guinness World Record for people gathered in tie dye

Students at Bishop Grandin High School in Calgary broke the record for largest gathering of people wearing tie dye shirts Friday.

The previous record was 454 people held by a high school in New Jersey.

Bishop Grandin gathered 885 students and staff together to almost double the number of people in the previous record.

Students, staff and parents were working together to create the shirts through the month of February in an effort to build school spirit.
