Motorcyclist dies after colliding with vehicle in North Toronto

TORONTO – A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a vehicle in north Toronto Friday afternoon.

The man, who was wearing a helmet, was reportedly trying to turn into the Shops at Don Mills near Don Mills and Lawrence when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

The victim was reportedly going in and out of consciousness while being rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital just after 3p.m.

The man was initially taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Traffic Services, a division of the Toronto Police service, was on scene near the Don Valley Parkway to investigate.

The area has since been reopened to traffic.
