Man arrested after three sexual assaults on TTC subways

TORONTO – Toronto Police have arrested a man who’s alleged to have sexually assaulted three women while riding the TTC subway.

39-year old Anastasios Orfanos was arrested on Wednesday morning and charged with three counts of sexual assault.

Police allege that three time Orfanos sexually assaulted women between the ages of 20 and 30 while on the TTC.

On May 17, Orfanos allegedly assaulted a 30-year woman who was travelling alone on the subway at 9a.m.

Twice on June 6, police allege that Orfanos sexually assaulted women – soon after one another – on the subway.

Once at 8:30a.m. and again at 8:46a.m., Organos allegedly assaulted women on the TTC.

He was arrested shortly after the alleged incidents on June 6.

He appeared in court on Friday morning.
