WINNIPEG – A man has been killed in a rear-end collision on the Trans-Canada Highway just east of Winnipeg.
RCMP say the early morning crash involved a 2004 Ford Explorer and a 1983 Chevrolet Blazer.

One of the drivers was pronounced dead at hospital, while the second driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
There were no passengers and the name of the man who died has not been released.
Police closed the westbound lanes of the Trans-Canada for their investigation.
