HALIFAX – Police have arrested a man in connection with a pair of bank robberies in Halifax.
The 43-year-old suspect from Dartmouth faces robbery and weapons-related charges.

He was arrested Thursday evening shortly after a robbery was reported at a CIBC on Parkland Drive.
Police say they seized a fake firearm and a knapsack containing cash.
They say the man is also charged in connection with a holdup at a CIBC branch on Barrington Street in April.
There were no injuries in either robbery.
