Cameron has been stung by his close ties to key suspects in Britain’s tabloid phone hacking scandal. His former communications chief has been arrested and charged by police, while two of his friends have also been charged with offences.
The inquiry, which Cameron commissioned to examine malpractice in the media and ties between politicians and the press, will hear evidence on Thursday.
