Police hunt for suspect after attempted murder

Calgary police are hoping the public can help them locate a 29-year-old man wanted for attempted murder.

Christopher Ivan Gooder is described by police as being 5’11″ tall, 180 pounds with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair.

Authorities are looking for him after a stabbing in Dover back in April.

Emergency crews were called to a home in the 4300 block of Doverwood Place southeast on April 10th.

Police believe two men in the home got in a fight, when one stabbed the other.

A 24-year-old was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition with extensive injuries to his head, neck and face.

Police are now looking for Gooder in connection to the stabbing.

He’s also facing charges of assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.
