A security guard was seriously injured after being attacked with a metal pipe on the Cote First Nation early this morning.
The attack happened when two men entered the Cote Band Store and assaulted the security guard, The guard sustained serious injuries and had to be transported to the Kamsack hospital.

The two suspects fled the scene on foot and were headed to Badgerville which is on the Cote First Nation.
The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
If anyone has any information on this robbery they are asked to call the Kamsack RCMP.
