A security guard was seriously injured after a robbery on the Cote First Nation early Thursday morning.
Mounties say two men confronted the security guard at the Cote Band Store around 3 a.m.

The suspects then attacked him with a metal pipe before fleeing towards Badgerville on foot with cash and cigarettes.
The security guard was taken to Kamsack hospital with serious injuries.
RCMP are asking anyone with information to contact the Kamsack detachment at 306-542-5560 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Cote First Nation is about 300 km east of Saskatoon.
