SASKATOON – A woman is facing charges after Saskatoon police stopped a stolen vehicle just outside the city Tuesday morning. A red Buick that was reported stolen in January was spotted being driven erratically around 22nd Street West and Avenue F.
Officers said the car was going through stop signs, speeding and at one point, was driven over the centre median.
No attempt was made to stop the car as police said they have had several pursuits with a similar car over the past couple of weeks, which were called off over public safety concerns.

Police used their airplane to track the red Buick as it headed out of the city on Valley Road around 3:30 a.m. CT.
Stop sticks were used and the car was stopped on Highway 60. Police say a search of the vehicle turned up guns and drugs.
The 28-year-old woman is charged with possession of stolen property and several traffic violations.
Police continue to investigate and other charges are pending.
