GEORGINA, Ont. – Police say two people have been killed following a collision between a dump truck and a car in a community about 75 kilometres north of Toronto.

York Regional Police say the collision occurred early Monday afternoon (on McCowan Road) in Georgina, Ont.

Police say the two occupants in the car were found without vital signs and were pronounced dead from their injuries at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and police are appealing for any witnesses who have not already spoken with them to come forward.
