REGINA – Two men are facing numerous charges after an investigation resulted in the seizure of meth, cocaine and marijuana.
An investigation by the Regina Integrated Drug Enforcement Team led them to a 26-year-old man who was suspected of trafficking a controlled substance. The man was arrested without incident at a business in south Regina on February 18th. He was found to be in possession of meth, cocaine and marijuana.

Investigators followed up by executing a search warrant at a home on the 3200 block of Woodhams Drive where they found a large quantity of cocaine, meth and marijuana. There was also a large sum of Canadian currency seized, along with ammunition and weigh scales and packaging associated to drug trafficking.
At the same time investigators were executing their search warrant, a vehicle was seen leaving the residence. A police cruiser conducted a traffic stop on the suspicion of drug involvement and the 25-year-old passenger was found to be in breach of court-ordered conditions and placed under arrest.
26-year-old Abdifatah Abdullah Hassan of Regina and 25-year-old Amin Ilmi of Edmonton are facing a number of charges including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,0000.
Both men will make their first court appearance on Friday afternoon.
