RCMP say one man has been arrested after prescription drugs, including fentanyl, were stolen during an overnight break and enter at a west central Manitoba drug store.
There’s no word on charges or any other suspects but Mounties say they are continuing to investigate the break-in at the store in Swan River.
In the meantime, they are warning area residents of a potential influx of illicit prescription drugs in the community. Mounties say they are especially concerned about the theft of fentanyl, a highly potent and addictive painkiller.
