Fire crews were called to a fire in a commercial building in the 1800 block of Salisbury Road shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday night.
The blaze completely destroyed three businesses including a cabinet-making business. Woodworker, Jon Black worked in one of the businesses.
“It’s very disheartening and disappointing, but luckily no one was in there and no one is injured,” he told Global News Thursday.
Fire fighters from Moncton and Riverview fire departments brought the fire under control a while later, but the building is now a total loss.

“It’s just tools at the end of the day, but it’s just a big hula hoop to jump through.” Black said.
