TORONTO – A man has died of injuries after falling from the third floor of a downtown Toronto restaurant after an attempted break-and-enter, according to police.
Police responded to a call at the Keg Mansion restaurant on Jarvis Street early Sunday where they say a man was found unconscious in the lobby.
He was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators later determined that the man had broken into the restaurant before falling through a stained-glass window on the third floor.
The 23-year-old Mississauga resident, who has not been identified, died of his injuries on Monday, police said.
