Sentencing in the trial of Real Honorio, one of the men convicted in a gang-related triple murder at the Bolsa restaurant, has been delayed because of new evidence.
Court has heard the crown’s star witness in the shooting, known as “MM”, confessed to RCMP a year ago to being the sole killer.

His confession was not passed on to the Crown or Calgary Police.
Court has now adjourned to view the video of “MM”s confession.
Not only could this affect Honorio’s trial, but all of the previous convictions in the Bolsa case.
On New Year’s Day, 2009, gunmen opened fire at the Vietnamese restaurant, killing a gang member, his associate and innocent bystander Keni Su’a.
28-year-old Real Honorio was found guilty in March of two counts of first-degree murder, and one count of second-degree murder.
