Calgary police said Tuesday a woman suffering from stab wounds who’d been dropped off at the Peter Lougheed Centre last week was the result of a suicide attempt.
Police said a man claimed he found her at the Rundle LRT station. She was in stable condition and was in surgery just before 5 p.m. on Feb. 10.
Police were seen taking two men into custody from a van at the Chuck E. Cheese across the street from the same hospital. They said the gray Dodge Caravan matched the description of a van that dropped the stabbing victim off at the Peter Lougheed Centre.
One man was arrested at the Chuck E. Cheese parking lot; the second was taken into custody. Both have since been dismissed and face no charges in the incident.
