EDMONTON- Hundreds of athletes from around the province descended on the Edmonton Expo Centre this weekend for the annual Edmonton Floor Hockey Tournament.

The event is an opportunity for athletes to get some final training in before the national competition next month in Corner Brook, Newfoundland.

“Tournaments are a really great social gathering for athletes to engage with each other and it’s a opportunity for coaches to see what other coaches are doing,” said Celina Comeau, a Volunteer Coordinator with Special Olympics Edmonton.
