The Looney Tunes characters, originally voiced by Warner Bros. voice actor Mel Blanc until his death in 1989, were handed over to Alaskey during the 2000s. He provided the voice for Bugs and Daffy in the 2003 live-action/animated movie Looney Tunes: Back in Action. He won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2004  for his work as Duck Dodgers.

Alaskey wasn’t confined to just cartoons, however. His voice was used on Rugrats, as Richard Nixon in Tom Hanks movie Forrest Gump, and narrated ID Network’s Murder Comes to Town.
