A Calgary man captured a very close call on his dashcam Monday morning: a driver merged across Stoney Trail and collided with a truck being pushed off the road.
“I was following behind for a little while then at the last minute, they cut over,” Brad Sieben said.
“For a high-speed collision, it seemed gentle,” Sieben said, adding he estimated traffic was flowing at around 90 kilometres an hour.
Police confirmed a white Honda Civic collided with a large truck driving southbound on Stoney Trail just before the 16 Avenue ramp at about 8:15 a.m.
Shockingly, no injuries were reported. The car was damaged in the collision.
Police said no charges have been laid at this point, but the incident is under investigation.
