It’s a shark eat shark world.
Onlookers at the COEX Aquarium in Seoul, South Korea, were shocked to see a sand tiger shark begin mowing down on an aquarium-mate this week.
The unlucky shark, a banded hound shark, was unable to fend off his attacker and sadly became lunch.
The female sand tiger shark measured about 2.2 metres in length and made an easy meal out of the male, who measured a mere 1.2 metres long.

Officials believe that the male shark could have been on the bad end of a disagreement over its turf. Or, the female could have bitten out of “astonishment.”

Amazingly, the female has been swimming around with the male in her mouth for over a day. She won’t be able to digest her massive meal and will likely regurgitate it within a week, experts believe.
