WINNIPEG — The Manitoba New Democratic party will have one less recognizable name on the ballots this spring.

He is the current justice minister and attorney general. Mackintosh has served as an NDP MLA since 1993.

Earlier this week Jennifer Howard, the NDP MLA for Fort Rouge, said she isn’t seeking re-election.

Other NDP MLAs who are not running again include Theresa Oswald, Nancy Allan and Stan Struthers.
