WINNIPEG — Heavy snow and gusty wind greeted Winnipeggers when they woke up this morning.

Snowfall amount is estimated between 5 to 10 cm on Wednesday, according to Environment Canada. There is also a risk of freezing rain.

Road conditions were not much better as CAA said it received multiple reports of crashes. The roads may prove to be tricky on Thursday morning as well as temperatures are expected to dip down to -9 C.
