WSD says expenses rose at least 2 per cent in the past year but funding from the province only increase 1 per cent.
It’s not the only school division looking at an increase.
A first draft for the budget with the Seven Oaks School Division calls for a 5.37 % increase, which in that division, is another $45.09 on the average home.
