SASKATOON – The trophy hunting trade show that spawned two petitions, a cancellation and an on-site protest arrived in Saskatoon. African Events Canada opened its two-day expo at the Travelodge Saturday.

The show introduces Saskatchewan hunters to companies offering trophy hunting excursions in Africa.

The event was initially scheduled for the Saskatoon Inn. Once anti-trophy hunting advocates issued a petition with thousands of signatures, the event was called off.
